How we scope post-construction cleaning
Post-construction cleaning is measured in passes, not in visits. The first pass removes bulk dust, packaging and debris once trades are out. The second works through surfaces, fittings, frames, glass and floors. The final pass presents the space immediately before inspection or occupation.
The number of passes and the crew size are driven by the handover date, the finish quality and how much residue the trades left behind. That is why we assess before committing to a date.
We are a cleaning contractor. Structural rubble removal, snag repairs and trade rework stay with the appointed contractors, and the scope says so explicitly.
Quality control
- • A written scope lists every area, task and frequency before work starts.
- • A named supervisor is responsible for the site and the visit records.
- • Completion notes record what was done, what was found and what needs attention.
- • Additional work is identified and quoted rather than absorbed silently.
Health and safety on site
- • Staff work in Broadway Affiliated uniforms and are briefed on the site rules before starting.
- • Wet floors, work zones and equipment areas are signed while cleaning is in progress.
- • Chemicals are used at the stated dilution, stored closed and kept away from public areas.
- • Site induction, access control and sign-in requirements are followed as the client sets them.
