What is a cold room trailer?

It is a towable, refrigerated walk-in unit — effectively a mobile cold room. It is delivered to your site, connected to power and holds a set temperature for the length of your hire.

Can I hire a cold room trailer for a single event?

Yes. Hire runs from one day upwards, subject to availability.

Do you transport meat and frozen product?

Our separate nationwide cold transport service accepts enquiries for suitable chilled and frozen products. Provide the product, required temperature, load size and collection and delivery addresses so we can confirm suitability and route availability.

How is the cold room trailer priced?

The daily rate is multiplied by hire days and number of assets, with delivery and collection fees for each asset's Gauteng zone. Prices include VAT and there is no cleaning fee. Where a rate has not been configured, request a quote.

A cold room trailer is a mobile cold room on wheels: it arrives at your premises or venue, plugs in and holds temperature, so you get cold-room capacity without building one. Butcheries, caterers, food suppliers and event organisers use it for peak periods, stock overflow and breakdown cover.

Cold transport handles the movement side — collecting and delivering chilled or frozen product under temperature control between suppliers, cold rooms, butcheries and event sites.

Cold room unit hire is Gauteng-only. Refrigerated transport is a separate nationwide service, subject to route availability and product suitability. VAT-inclusive daily unit hire and delivery and collection fees per asset are confirmed on your quotation.
